I will admit that I absolutely love the packaging. The blue/gold combination is definitely sleek and chic.
The way to use this mascara is to first use the flat side of the wand to volumize your lashes. Once you achieved the desire volume then you turn the wand and start using the curved side to curl your lashes. And oh boy, this mascara REALLY DOES hold the curls. My lashes remained curled throughout the day which is 7.30am till the time I arrive home in the evening, roughly 6-7pm. Unfortunately, this is where the good ends for me.
This mascara is dry, too dry for my liking. Before I could achieve anything, the formulation has already dried and if I use try a second coat to volumize my lashes, it will start to clump a little. By the time I use the curved side to curl my lashes which will be the third coat of mascara, my lashes will start to look a wee bit spidery and I absolutely loathe that.
I tried using this mascara for a week but I kinda gave up after the fourth day. I did manage to get slightly better result on the third day of using this but I had to work very fast in coating my lashes and I only use a maximum of 2 coats; one for volumizing and the other for curling. It gave my lashes a decent volume but with no lengthening effect whatsoever.
And be warned that this mascara is a bloody pain to remove. I had to use quite the amount of waterproof eye makeup remover in order to clean it. I guess it's good and bad as in it stays and does not smudge or transfer throughout the day but quite the task to remove it at the end of the day.
Will I repurchase this mascara? Absolutely not as this has got to be one of the worst mascara I have ever tried.
