My Perfumes
One of the things that I am unable to be without is perfume. While I am absolutely fickle about lipsticks and mascaras..I am surprisingly faithful to my fragrances.
The oldest perfume that I have been using is Angel by Thierry Mugler. Now this scent is not for everyone as it is unique and definitely nothing like any other perfume that I have ever come across. It's very musky and smells differently on everyone. It's uniqueness is what makes it so amazing to me. The bottle that I own is refillable so needless to say, there has been quite a number of refills done and with more to come.
Elie Saab 'Le Parfum' was the first perfume from Elie Saab and it is also musky. However, it does smell lighter than Angel.
Last but not least, the ever famous J'adore by Dior. This perfume is the most expensive amongst the 3 and I only use it occasionally. It's light, refreshing but still sensual. I personally find it more suitable to be used during day time and it doesn't last as long as Angel and Elie Saab 'Le Parfum'.
As you can see from the picture, my Elie Saab 'Le Parfum' is just a couple of spritz from finished and Angel is crying out for another refill. I recently have been in a hunt for a new perfume to try and have been flirting with fragrance from Guerlain, Elizabeth Arden and Burberry. However, it all smell almost the same and I am a fan of something unique which stands out from the crowd.
Anyone has any suggestions for me?

I really want to try Angel, don't think I've even sniffed it but I've always wanted to give it a go!
ReplyDeleteI first had it as a gift when I was in my mid 20s (which was a very long time ago...) and I hated it. But even since I hit the big 3-0, I absolutely love it! No idea why though, maybe my body chemistry is different now.
Delete[ Smiles ] Cherish those fragrances, Shireen.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Renard! :-)
DeleteFor once I am defeated Shireen. I cannot offer any advice here.
ReplyDeleteI do have an observation though, which is that one of my pet hates are the perfume counters in Department stores, where all the different fragrances mingle....
Hahaha! Ohh, I know what you mean, Ray. It drives my sinus bonkers every time I linger a little too long around that area.
