When I received Marcelle Waterproof Lip Definition Crayon in the shade Nude*, my heart sank a little. Not only it's a lip liner but I have never successfully find a nude shade that suits my medium skin tone. Picture me as an extra in the Walking Dead, nude shade washes me out and I will instantly look sickly.

This lip liner is soft and applies very smoothly, definitely one of the smoothest that I have tried. It didn't tug at my lips and I can easily apply it all over the lips as a lipstick. It is very tacky after application but the tackiness disappears after 5 minutes or so. Just don't go smacking your lips like a pervert and you'll be fine.
Unfortunately this didn't last as long as I like it to be by itself. I only managed 2-3 hours wear without eating/drinking before I start to notice some fading. However, when I use NYX Butter Gloss in shade Tiramisu on top of it, I could easily get a 4 hours wear with only drinking.
Another downside of this lip liner is you have to use a sharpener for it. It's not a retractable or self-sharpening pencil which what we lazy people like these days. Is it a hassle? A little but it's no biggie.
This is my first Marcelle product and I must admit it's a very good introduction. I'm definitely a fan of this lip pencil and am really curious about the other products from the brand.
