How would you describe yourself? Me, well, I am stubborn, fiery aka short tempered and fickle. The one thing I have never been fickle about was my blog schedule. I said was because it all changed for today's brand. It was supposed to be a part of my Skincare Saviours For Dry/Dehydrated Skin (read here) but I fell so in love with some of these masks, they deserve the spotlight all for themselves.
My crazy work schedule has definitely wreacked havoc on my skin; I have a pimple that erupted like a bloody volcano, persistent dry spot by my lips...yes, first world problem but still a problem nonetheless. And these precious Yes To face masks have been heaven sent for my skin. The ingredient lists are brilliant with a reasonable price range and this brand will be a permanent staple in my routine.
I get a little nervous every time I see the word detox in skincare because I am under the impression that it will purge my skin by drawing out every single impurity. Thankfully these are anything but drying or causing me to breakout like a hormonal teenager.

I have read multiple complaints about Yes To sheet masks causing a burning sensation and unfortunately I have to agree. My skin felt a slight burning sensation for the first 2 minutes (same experience with all Yes To sheet masks that I tried) which is uncomfortable but if you can bear through that feeling, the results are amazing. This detox sheet mask version leaves my skin feeling fresh and smooth but the real winner is the mud version.
Detoxifying Mud Mask* is your traditional mud mask but without leaving my skin tight and dry. I am a long time user of mud masks and I must say this is one of my all time favourites because it contains salicylic acid. Yes, it actually helped to calm down my ginormous pimple and for that reason alone, I will forever repurchase this.
My skin looks almost poreless after rinsing and it leaves my skin looking so fresh and radiant. I wish this mask came in a huge multiple use packaging but on the other hand, this one time application allows us to get the best out of the mask when the ingredients are at their freshest.
Aloe vera juice, witch hazel, tea tree, salicylic acid and lots of botanical extracts make this a juicylicious mask and this also stung my skin the least. This mask is hydrating, refreshing and makes my skin do a happy dance. I can't attest to the clear skin claims though because I used this when my skin wasn't being an absolute twat.
YES TO CUCUMBER SOOTHING MUD AND PAPER MASKS
Soothing is definitely the best word to describe both masks even though I wish the sheet mask didn't cause my skin to tingle aka burn the first couple of minutes. That said, the sheet mask didn't cause my skin to react badly nor did my skin turn red on the contrary, my skin looks supple and plump.
The mud mask is another favourite, (actually I love all Yes To mud masks!) and one day I applied this after being sick for almost a week and it brought life back into my skin. I didn't think it was possible just after one use but my skin looked refreshed and the dullness and redness almost all gone.

I was most excited to try this mask but alas it stung the most and it dried out my skin so badly. It took me 3 days of layering rich essences and facial oil to seal back moisture into my skin. My skin is not sensitive and can take a lot of abuse but this mask was a huge no. I don't know what caused the reaction because I don't see anything terrible in the ingredient list.
This has been such a brilliant journey discovering Yes To products and you can betcha! your life that you'll be seeing more of this brand either here or on my Instagram soon.
