Let's get a little personal today...share with me about your most beautiful feature. I sat down and thought long and hard and I think my best feature is my smile. It was the one thing that I always got complimented on throughout my life and Mr. Platt agrees. Well, he also pointed out another feature which I am more than happy to leave out of this post...he's a cheeky old bugger so we'll leave it at that.

While I do smile a lot, the one thing that makes me a little self-conscious is my teeth. I have been lucky that I never needed braces but being an ex-smoker (I started smoking when I was 19 and finally went cold turkey in 2011) and a massive coffee drinker, my teeth are not the whitest and brightest. The Teeth Whitening Kit* came with everything I needed to make my teeth moulds and the whitening and desensitizing gels for the whitening process. To make my teeth moulds was fairly easy and all I had to do is to mix catalyst and base paste together until it turned solid blue, place it in the trays that came in the kit, clamp my teeth down to make an impression, take the tray out after a minute and half, rinse and let it dry and harden up. I mailed off the trays and received my teeth moulds within less than two weeks!
For my first try, it was suggested that I only wear the whitening gel filled moulds for half an hour, rinse and then wear the moulds again for 15 minutes but this time filled with desensitizing gels. The desensitizing gels rehydrate my teeth and prevent them from being sensitive and painful.
While I can wear the whitening gel filled moulds up to three hours, I've only worn them a maximum of two hours once and the rest of the time I wore them for only an hour. I didn't like the feel of the moulds in my mouth and my gums felt sensitive after an hour and half. I've so far finished only one syringe of whitening and desensitizing gels and I got four treatments with them.
